Wahgoshig First Nation Community Energy Plan
We are excited to be working with Wahgoshig First Nation to create a community energy plan through the OPA’s Aboriginal Community Energy Program. This young Nation holds great potential, both for conservation and for renewable energy generation, and Sustainable EDGE hopes to help develop a responsible and sustainable energy strategy to meet their community needs and goals. Find out more about the ACEP program through the Aboriginal Renewable Energy Network.
Ontario Architects Association HQ Targets Zero Carbon Emissions!
Sustainable EDGE is designing the strategic retrofitting of the Ontario Architect Association head office in Toronto to meet the net zero carbon 2030 Challenge target, as well as maximizing indoor environmental quality. Working with David Fujiwara Architect, TransSolar EnergieTechnik and Gottesman Associates, we are employing an innovative design for thermal envelope upgrades, solar shading, 100% outdoor air displacement ventilation with biowall air cleaning. The remaining minimal mechanical systems energy will be supplied by solar energy on the rooftop.
